PLEASE Blog readers- PRAY for Logen. Ask your neighboor, your cashier at Target, the lady that walks the block on noon every day, your blog readers- whoever you can think of- we just are in need of some MAJOR prayers.
What are testing for now and what several Doctor's have spoken to us about is a genetic disease. I'd rather not mention the name at this point. The doctor's have given us info about it and we are trying not to research the web, it can be your enemy in some cases. A few of it's whatevers are- nonverbal (forever), shortened lifespan, seizures, it goes on to break my heart.
Blog Family, I dreamed (a nightmare!) I had to plan Logen's funeral last night. And inform people he was gone. I didn't sleep and I just cried. Please please pray with us- we do not want this to be what Logen has. The outcome is not desirable. A Mother is not suppose to outlive her child, you know?
I am Begging you all to pray. I don't know what else to do right now. The tests will take 3-4 weeks to come back. We meet with the Geneticist, Neuro, Urologist, and Surgen in 4 weeks. I may go crazy until then. Pray with us and for us. We love Logen and can't imagine life without him. I am so incredibly scared.

I saw your request for prayers on Andrea's website and thought I would pop over. I will be praying for you all and especially for your sweet son. I pray for peace of mind and heart while you wait and protection from fear. We know that perfect love casts out fear and that is my prayer for you over the wait period. We have a son with a 'terminal' disease and I know, oh so well, what the wait is like and how hard it is to read the information and also to not read. Please know I will be praying for you all and will check back on you soon.

ReplyDeleteWrapping you with love and prayers!!!
ReplyDeleteLord,
ReplyDeleteSurround Logen with your angels of protection, peace and love. Send those same angels to cover Jess. Give the doctors wisdom. AND, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE lead those doctors to the right diagnosis of something that is TREATABLE and non-life-threatening. Hug A&J's hearting and incredibly worried hearts.
Amen.
(And I will continue to pray this over and over again, Jess!)
I also saw your plea for prayer from your comment on Andrea's blog...

ReplyDeleteI just felt compelled to write you my prayer for your son..
Father God we come together in agreement that You are the One and Only True Healer, Lord, on our knees, with all that we are we beg for the life and healing of Logan. Jesus, we cry out for what He can not. We ask for these symptoms to go away. We ask for a miracle in this sweet life that you created...we ask that you calm our fears and subside anxiety during the two weeks of waiting. Jesus, I have claimed my love for you and I know that the works of your hands are amazing and unquestionable. I beg on behalf of Logan, now for peace in that little body! Heal him Lord, only you can...Help his mother know that you have Logan in the palm of Your hand even in the darkest of times and sickest of moments...let her know that You are there, Jesus, and that You are in Love with Your creation. Please, Father, grant this family, with tied hands, Peace Jesus...We love You, Help us.. In the sweet Name of Christ Jesus we pray, Amen..
